PostSubject: What is Duromine?   Fri Oct 08, 2010 5:16 pm

Everyone is always looking for different ways to lose weight; this can be in the form of diets, surgery and with the use of different supplements. Each of them have their own way of being effective and they all have varied results. This article will focus on the supplement called Duromine.

Duromine is the trading name for the popular weight loss supplement Phentermine. This product can be found primarily in New Zealand and Australia. It works by suppressing the appetite, which means you will be eating less as you won't have the desire to. It accomplishes this by releasing a specific chemical into the brain that is used to control the appetite. It is usually prescribed for people who are morbidly obese as a starting point for their weight loss. Duromine is a short term solution to the problems people may have and it is not recommended to be taken over long periods of time.

Duromine is another name for phentermine. The phentermine in the supplement works on the transmitters that are in the brain. This is accomplished by it stimulating the central nervous system. Once this is done the brain gets the trigger and releases certain chemicals into the body. These chemicals are often adrenalin and dopamine. These chemicals are able to suppress the hunger cravings that people feel. This means the brain will not have the hunger messages going to it; in turn a person would not feel hungry. The phentermine in the supplelemnt is often combined with a resin. When taken, this allows it to be released systematically through the day, so the body does not feel hungry as the day goes on.

When taking the supplement, you should go and visit with your doctor regularly. If you take Duromine and experience symptoms such as chest pain, rapid weight loss, swelling of the lower limbs and difficulty breathing, then you should go and see your health practitioner immediately. It should also be noted that you should not drink alcohol while you are taking the supplement. You should also not take the medication if you plan on taking cough or cold medication.

As stated above Duromine is used primarily to reduce body weight in obese or overweight patients. This is a prescription drug, which means you have consultation and your doctor will determine if this drug is right for you. The drug can be used in other purposes, so you need to ensure that you have been given it for the right purpose.
